Canadian PM guilty of ECOcide

Last week, Canadian Prime Minister and oil man Stephen Harper went to China, not as a dignified statesman but as a glorified salesman, to peddle the filthy tar sands crude and cruelty-derived seal products to China and other G-20 countries. He pretty much guaranteed that the pipeline from northern Alberta, where the mines are located and where the Athabascan watershed has become one gigantic carcinogen, through the thousand mountains and streams of my province British Columbia to the BC sea ports of Kitimat and Prince Rupert, is a done deal and will be built, regardless of the environmental hearing and public consultation still to come over the next couple of years.

In other words, he will go through the motion of democracy and deny the essence of it. While preaching with words to China to be "democratic", he demonstrated by deed how to use the almighty dollar to crush democracy itself.

A pipeline through BC will burst, and oil tankers in BC waters will spill. These are probablistic inevitabilities. They will not be accidents, but accidents-waiting-to-happen that Mr. Harper himself knows or should know will happen.

Therefore, when (not if) they do, let it be known, right here and now, that MR. HARPER WILL BE HELD PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS DUE SHARE OF FUTURE DAMAGES INCURRED, AND ANSWER TO THE IRREVERSIBLE CRIME OF ECOCIDE as leader of the atrocity, whether or not he be still in power.

And Karma will have it that history will judge him accordingly.
